Denver Art Museum
I like how this site has different teacher workshops that you can go to to learn things that can help you in the classroom. I also like how they have a tab that has resources that teachers can look at. I also like how you can view images you can use this in the classroom when you are discussing different artworks with your students. The blog page is a big plus to because it is a way for teacher to connect with one another and share ideas.
Indianapolis Museum of Art
This site is filled with a lot of information that teachers can used to help them plan lessons for class. They have activities that you can do with students and they also give information on public tours that you can take with your students. This museum looks like place to take students to few the different exhibition they may be taking place there. I also like how you can search different collections and view them on the website.
Jumping in Art Museums
This is a very interesting site it is basically a site full of blogs. It cool how you can read what people have done and they have the pictures with the captions to show what is going on in each image. Its all about people jumping with art in the background or even a museum. I like how it gets the people who view this site involved with what is going on. You could use this with your students and get them to take pictures to submit to this blog, with parents permission first, so that the students could be involved.
Exploratorium
I like how this site is very organized. This site has many different topics that you can choose from that you could incorporate with a lesson you may be teaching. Its also nice how they have different activities and videos that you can watch that you could also use during a lesson. The education tab is really helpful for teachers because they have a lot of information on field trips, lesson, and much more.
Walker Art Center
This site has a lot of information on it there are so many different areas that you can visit throughout the site. The link where you can open the collection that they have is really neat. How you can blow the pictures up and they have all he information on the piece like the materials they used and the name of the artist and the title of the piece.
